How can I help?
The Storehouse is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, as determined by the IRS. Donations are therefore, tax deductible.
What your money will do:
The need for services provided by The Storehouse has continued to grow at an alarming rate.
In 1996, The Storehouse provided 33,000 meals.
Demand Continued to Soar:
By 2010, The Storehouse was annually providing more than 2 million meals and 50,000 articles of clothing. This increased demand, and service, still exists.
More than half of everything provided goes to children. To support this incredible demand, The Storehouse must continually raise funds to supply the food and clothing we provide our customers.
We need your help to stay open, keep the lights on and the shelves stocked. The fact is, it takes a lot of money to run The Storehouse. In 2006 our budget was $400,000. In 2009 our budget exceeded $500,000, and now we have a million dollar budget (although our current average administrative overhead is just approximately 6%).
Do you want to help TODAY?

CHURCHES | Church Food Drives
For more than four decades, Albuquerque churches have supported The Storehouse by providing regular food contributions. Through a program called Families Feeding Families, churches select a food item that the congregation furnishes to The Storehouse. Food is deposited in collection boxes at the churches and picked up by The Storehouse on a regular basis.
In 2006 alone, Albuquerque churches contributed more than 250,000 cans of food to The Storehouse.
In 2008, they contributed more than 275,000 cans of food.
We invite Albuquerque congregations of all faiths to consider us as a mission project.
Community Food Drives, schools, civic organizations, government offices, businesses and many other organizations conduct food drives year-round in support of The Storehouse.
If you would like more information on how to organize a food drive, please contact us.
Thank you in advance for your contribution. EVERY little bit helps us help others.
